Caldera Springs at Sunriver

It is a fact that there are plenty of rentals in Sunriver. This is due to the abundance of outdoor activities, wilderness for hiking, fly fishing, and skiing, breweries, restaurants and shopping in Bend and golfing opportunities in Sunriver and Bend.

I usually prioritize fly fishing on the Deschutes when I vacation in Central Oregon. But this time I spent an enjoyable afternoon at the High Desert Museum, bought new golf shoes at the Nike outlet, golfed the Caldera Springs Par 3 golf course (twice), played ping pong in the garage and soaked the hot tub on the deck of our our luxury vacation rental in Caldera Springs on Dancing Rock Loop.

This house was amazing and the view is fantastic. The back yard spills onto the fairway and the deer stop by for dinner each night. The deck has room for 8 or 9 and the barbeque not only has room for at least 8 steaks, but has it’s own refrigerator to keep you hydrated during the hot task of cooking.

There were only 2 of us staying there and we had some friends from Bend come by for dinner, so the house felt like a mansion. 4 bedrooms, 2 dining rooms 5 bathrooms and an oversized 2 car garage. The appliances are brand new and stainless, with plenty of room in the fridge and pantry.

Each night we cozied up on the couch by the fire, cranked up the surround sound and watched a dvd or 2. The house has a DVD library of 150 and we brought the netflix as backup. And I even got a chance to watch a European Soccer final on the 50” TV.

It is a beautiful house in a gorgeous setting, I’m looking forward to returning in the winter time for a Mt. Bachelor ski vacation.
